Innovative health sector-based consumer goods retailer (number one in its category on Amazon) requires experienced Business Application Lead with strong Shopify ecommerce experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a tenacious and results-driven Business Application Lead with specific expertise in the Shopify platform to join a private equity backed award winning and fast-growing business that is a leader in its field.

The ideal candidate will have detailed technical experience in the Shopify platform, in a multi-currency environment, thriving on challenges and delivering against targets, as well as supporting the overall IT strategy.
Responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and supporting business technology solutions running on Shopify; including Direct to Consumer (DTC), B2B and other types of eCommerce. You will understand the processes performed by selected functional business areas and be capable of lead change through business process re engineering and large-scale IT deployment initiatives.
You will understand the overall operating environment, then identify and successfully execute projects or process change as well as contributing to the internal business systems strategy and overall planning, execution and success of assigned projects.
To ensure that the eCommerce operations and demand pipelines are understood, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner.
Responsible for effective support of assigned business technology solutions, including applications, integration and vendor management as necessary.
Manages business processes and/or projects, setting priorities and measurable objectives, monitoring and reporting on the process, progress and results.
Implements site changes in Shopify by modify existing systems or implementing new code. Must be able to develop within Shopify and its app/plug in parameters.
QA and testing for all site enhancements and bugs as they come up to identify areas of concerns and leverage experience and data, providing solutions to resolve them.
An ability to work closely with the DTC and marketing teams to create in-the-moment marketing, UX and promotional campaigns and offer sit enhancements to increase conversion and revenue.
Required skills and experience:
Must have functional experience using and supporting the Shopify platform
Circa 5 years+ of Product Management and Ecommerce background
Must have development understanding to code in the Shopify platform
Must understand cross browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards
A solid understanding of ecommerce UX and customer expectations within that realm
Must be organised, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions
Be a team-player, with the ability to work and influence cross-functional teams
Ability to multitask and manage numerous simultaneous priorities
An ability to support with mobile site development and optimisation
This individual needs to have high energy, high ownership of work product, dedication and commitment to driving results.
