Applause IT is a well-established IT Recruitment agency based in Birmingham City Centre with 20 years trading history working with leading IT Technology companies, Software Houses and IT Teams at Major UK PLCs. We are experiencing an increasing demand for IT Sales professionals from our existing client base and wish to grow this business by launching a new IT Sales Recruitment arm in 2021 headed up by a hands-on director of the business.

As such this role represents an rare opportunity to join a successful, well-funded, well-tooled recruitment business, bringing your experience and contacts whilst gaining from access to our existing IT client base in order to further develop new and exciting business. You will be targeting SaaS Software Houses, VARs, Channel partners, Managed Services and Hosting and Cloud Migration companies, IoT tech suppliers and more.

You will need 3-5 years + experience in Sales Recruitment with a good element of having serviced IT and Tech Sales roles including : Internal Sales, Account Managers, Sales Reps, Business Development Managers, Sales Managers and/or Senior Sales appointments in the UK Tech Sales market and should have a good track record of winning new business and converting that through to respectable billing figures for an experienced consultant.

The role:

Building your reputation as an expert in your field

Relationship building and networking

Client acquisition and account development over the phone and virtually - Must be good on Teams, Zoom etc.

Ensuring recruitment cycle is managed to the highest quality

Developing innovative ideas to cement client engagement in the age of the digital native

Working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to including our external Marketing support consultant

Representing the company at industry and networking events and conducting occasional travel throughout the UK (post covid) for client meetings
