Growing and well-established IT Managed Services Provider and MS Gold Partner requires experienced Service Desk Manager to handle day to day support tickets and service faults, incidents and service problems for their growing public and private sector client base. You will be managing a team of three and will be responsible for all 1-3rd line support issues.
You will be responsible for further implementation of ITIL standards and practices and will be involved in evaluation of current and future software tooling for helpdesk ticketing.
You'll need 5 years plus in IT with relevant recent experience in a similar role and will have excellent customer centric communications and relationship management skills as you will often be the customer interface of the service desk.
You will need a good understanding of the 5 pillars of modern IT infrastructure including Servers, Networking, Messaging, Storage and Security and the typical products and services on offer at a modern IT MSP company.
Skills with Autotask or Service Now or similar and network monitoring tools like Logic Monitor and Ninja RM are essential.
An MSP or BPO type background is preferred.
