A bluechip engineering business with national coverage is seeking a new Helpdesk / Service Desk Manager with strong technology leadership skills to oversee their central IT support function in Newcastle. This is a very busy support team, and we need somebody with a proven track record of implementing change/strong leadership.
With 4 direct reports this position will suit a Helpdesk / Service Desk Manager with experience of running larger, high-volume teams, but also somebody with a history/proven experience of implementing self-diagnosis solutions for customers. The preference is for chatbots, but any history of devising/implementing innovative, self-service-driven solutions will be considered.
