IT Sales, Account Manager, Managed Services and Cloud

£45,000 - £50,000 including car allowance + Excellent Commissions + Benefits

An established Managed services provider with an impressive portfolio of the latest IT and Security Solutions is looking for an Account Manager to be responsible for renewal of existing contracts, the growth of your customer's contract value, and the acquisition of new customers.

In this role you will be selling the latest IT and Cyber Security Solutions and work alongside other experienced Account Managers and Solutions Consultants to provide advice to an array of customers on top of identifying opportunities for sales growth.

Requirements:

  • Be the primary point of contact for your allocated customers
  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets including the renewal of existing contracts, the growth of your customer's contract value, and the acquisition of new customers to OGL
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact and providing advice and guidance on relevant technologies and solutions
  • Present recommendations for new solutions and services aligned to the needs of the customer
  • Attend scheduled meetings with other members of the team, including Line Managers, to discuss potential pipeline and ongoing activity
  • Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of products, services, and technological developments to be able to advise customers

Skills and Experience:

  • Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in an IT environment and having a track record of target achievement
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure solutions with experience of Microsoft Azure and Office 365
  • Committed to delivering first-class customer service and building a long-lasting trust environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
