Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud, Linux, Windows
Hertford - £45,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience within Linux administration as well as at least 8 years of experience within an infrastructure/ Systems Administrator role sought by a complete retail solutions organisation.
The Infrastructure Engineer will join a growing Infrastructure Team and will be reporting to the Director of Support, this role will be part of the organisation's global infrastructure management team, sharing tasks and responsibilities with colleagues in other countries.
The essential knowledge for the successful Infrastructure Engineer is as follows:
* 8+ years' experience within Infrastructure or Systems/Network Administration
* Strong Linux administration, preferably Ubuntu
* Administration of Azure/AWS subscriptions and environments
* Virtualisation experience within VMware vSphere/ESX/ESXi
* Networking firewalls experience - WatchGuard is preferred but other variations are transferable
* Securing environments and hardening systems, e.g. firewalls (including WAFs), servers, etc.
* Generation and maintenance of knowledge base articles and documentation
* Data centre management
The following qualifications are desired but not essential:
* Experience with Dell hardware
* Working exposure to Docker
* Experience with an ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), nginx
* Formal WatchGuard, VMware, ITIL and other relevant certifications
