Chester / North Wales border area (Deesside). Commute via Chester, Wirral, North Wales (Denbigh, Rhyl, Flintshire) and Warrington / Runcorn

Leading 1st tier UK Plc requires junior graduate trainee JavaScript and .NET Web Developer to join growing team focusing on external public facing web sites, applications and mobile / tablet solutions for their customers and prospects that are used by the general public, and their employees in the field.

Essential Requirements:

Front end Web Development experience with HTML, CSS & Javascript

Back end experience with either C#, Python, or Java - C#.NET Preferred

Some understanding of SQL

Experience with version control systems - GIT preferred

Degree educated with minimum 2:2, pref Computer Science or Games Programming but will consider others if can demonstrate ability to code

Ability and desire to pick up new skills very quickly

Most important is you must be passionate about coding and be able to demonstrate this via projects you have developed in your own time

Object Orientated JavaScript - you'll get exposure to Typescript and Angular is successful

Experience of working to Agile methods

Ready and willing to employ new technologies!

The Role:

Use Company-standard tools (Visual Studio, C#, MVC, SQL, Javascript, Angular, HTML, CSS, GIT, Umbraco/Sitecore) to deliver Web sites and digital applications with data stored in RDBMS such as SQL Server

To attend project and team meetings and liaise with other Developers, Systems Analysts, Management and end users, in discussing system development and design

Develop code in line with best security practices

Working with various functional departments and IT to identify and resolve any problems with the applications, including liaising with end users and recording activity

Carrying out application testing to ensure changes meet user requirements
