Applause IT is recruiting for a Graduate Software Developer to join this high-growth Track 100 software organisation. This is a full-time permanent position and the successful graduate will be working remotely from home for the foreseeable future.
The successful graduate developer will be joining a dynamic team and will learn directly from the very best software developers in the industry. From day-one you will be set tailored personal development goals, taking into account your experience and career aspirations. You will also have a dedicated mentor to help you achieve your goals. The business can offer you the opportunity to work with either Java or .NET (or both) depending on your interests. Furthermore, you will learn Agile development techniques including TDD and rapid release.
You will need to be an outstanding problem-solver who enjoys finding innovative solutions to complex challenges. In addition to this, you will have a solid academic background that includes excellent A-level grades and a technical degree form a top University. Most members of the team hold a first-class degree from a top ten UK University and many hold postgraduate qualifications. A passion for programming and ability to evidence personal projects is essential. Java or .NET experience would be beneficial but is non-essential.

Office location: near Knutsford and easily commutable from Manchester, Stockport, Wilmslow, Warrington, Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield, and Northwich.
Working pattern: This role will be fully remote until it is safe to return to the office. Beyond the pandemic, there will be a balance of office and remote work. Core hours are typically 9am - 5pm but there is flexibility around start and finish times.
