Full Stack Java Developer

Hertford - £35,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

Applause IT are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with experience in the whole life cycle development process to join a successful innovative software company providing systems to leading UK, European, Asian, and North American retailers.

As an in-house developer you will be required to develop the application using our design tools, alongside traditional java, web, and database development. Projects will include phone and handheld development, java Swing clients, web applications including React and SOAP and Rest web services.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• 1-3 years experience in Java and web application development
• Exposure to database development using ANSI SQL and JDBC
• Effective use of design patterns and unit testing frameworks
• First/upper second degree (BSc) in a technical subject

Desirable skills and experience:

• Frontend Web Development, React, Angular, Vue
• MariaDB/MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle
• Mobile app development on IOS/Android
