Financial Services Software Systems Account Manager - Must have Fintech experience

Grantham, Lincolnshire - Commutable via Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln

£60,000 - £80,000 pa + Great Benefits

Working within the banking, insurance, lending and debt financial sectors my client has a long experience in dealing with a vast number of transactional requirements, currently facilitating more than £200m of cash distribution across a range of financial institutions for 100,00 + clients.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with customers and oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business from these existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities where they arise. In this role you will:

Develop strong relationships with customers

Connect with key business executives and stakeholders

Answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among these existing customers

Liaise with internal teams to improve the entire customer experience including sales and support

Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters

Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements

Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders via reports

Ensure customers are invoiced correctly against the frequency in their contract

Forecast and track key account metrics

Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Required Skills:

Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

We are looking for an 'all-rounder' who is capable of as planning/ communication/ risk identification/negotiation and be able to project the brand whilst talking and holding strong relationships!

A flair for client communication and understanding of consumer behaviour is key

Financial Industry software knowledge 10 plus years of experience

Ideally, candidates for this role will be ambitious individuals with a will to learn and develop.

Occasional UK weekday travel will be involved
