ApplauseIT are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouses alongside ETL, Python and Cloud is sought by an innovative and rapidly growing SaaS solution house. They are building "next generation" customer loyalty technology solutions and they want to bring more talented, enthusiastic, and technologically curious individuals to the team! Some of the top tier 1 UK retailers are already customers and they have backing from some of the most influential retail leaders to help them grow their customer case further, in the UK and internationally.

As a Data Engineer you will be joining their software engineering function to contribute to the solution design and implementation, while sharing responsibility for platform security, performance, and scalability, in what is a very relaxed but innovative environment.

The successful Data Engineer will ideally have the following:

  • Strong Python coding ability
  • Proficiency with using GCP or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with SQL and ideally NoSQL Databases
  • Vast experience / Knowledge of ETL / ELT processing / streaming pipelines
