1st Technical Support Technician - MSP, Microsoft

Macclesfield, Cheshire (100% Remote but must be in the Macclesfield region)

£20,000 -£22,000 per annum depending on experience + Benefits

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for person with good recent experience in a similar 1st-2nd line IT support role to join a busy and expanding technical services department. A good understanding of Microsoft servers, client operating systems, MS office applications, networking skills, hardware / software troubleshooting etc. is required. Good opportunities exist to work towards 2nd line skills in this role with paid certification as they are a MS Gold Partner.

Must haves
At least 2 years in a technical role dealing with Microsoft tech
Experience in Microsoft Windows Server (2012 R2 onward),
Experience in Windows (Win 10 Pro) & Mac Client Operating Systems,
Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues, DNS, DHCP, IP Addressing
Experience in Client Hardware/Software fault diagnosis
Experience in configuring Mobile devices.
Experience administration & troubleshooting of Office/Microsoft 365 workloads Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Security & Compliance, Intune, and OneDrive.
Driving license and own transport

Some experience with Microsoft Azure Services
Management of cyber security support services and products.
MSP experience
Experience of managing/troubleshooting VoIP solutions
Experience in config of Routers, Switches, Access Points
Microsoft Certifications
