Digital Marketing Manager - In-House - Part-Time - City Centre /Central Birmingham

Basis: 3 days per week (flexible)

The Role:

You'll gain a unique insight into the company through working closely with company Directors, Training Managers & Consultants to create cohesive online and offline marketing materials and support.

As Marketing Manager you'll be responsible to increase our brand awareness, support the online visibility of our consultants and take creative ownership of marketing materials, website, and social media profiles.

Tasks will include:

  • Monitoring & reporting on website rankings and traffic
  • Writing engaging blog articles about the tech/recruitment industry
  • Making continual updates to the website for SEO and UX
  • Liaising with our consultants to design advertisements on social media
  • Maintaining an active company social media profile
  • Scheduling bespoke email campaigns via MailChimp to our candidate and client base
  • Creating company-wide internal newsletters with company directors
  • Designing visually digestible stats reports to support our Training Manager
  • Implementing off-site SEO campaigns through link building
  • Staying up to date with industry developments and best practices

The Candidate:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a digital marketing role
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a positive and pro-active approach
  • Proven track record of delivering successful content marketing campaigns
  • Solid understanding of fundamental SEO principles and best practice
  • Fantastic organisational, written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Good working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Previous experience using outreach tools and social media platforms
  • Interest in creative design using tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite
